During the reign of King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah in Nepal, Sinhe presented a beautifully crafted Khukuri to the king. The king remarked, ‘I have never seen such a fine work of Khukuri art in my entire life.’ The name of our great-grandfather remains renowned among Khukuri artisans and sellers in Bhojpur and across Nepal.
